U.S. Dairy Education & Training Consortium

The U.S. Dairy Education & Training Consortium (USDETC) is a multi-university organization established in 2008 to provide education and training to the next generation of the dairy industry. A rising number of institutions have dispersed their dairy herds and decreased the number of dairy science courses taught. The program seeks to lessen the effects of these trends by providing a comprehensive program in large herd management, through a partnership between academia, industry professionals, and dairy producers.
