American Dairy Science Association

The University of Florida Dairy Science Club is a proud chapter of the American Dairy Science Association Student Affiliate Division (ADSA SAD). The national and regional meetings of the ADSA bring together faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students to discuss current events and advancements in research and industry. As a chapter, the club participates in intercollegiate competitions to test dairy knowledge and professional skills.

RESEARCH

Students have the opportunity to present research in one of three categories: Dairy Production, Dairy Foods, and Original Research. Students also have the opportunity to hear the current research of university faculty.

QUIZ BOWL

Students may apply to be on the club dairy quiz bowl teams to demonstrate their knowledge about dairy production, processing, and ADSA history.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

Students contribute to the development of the club website, scrapbook, and annual report that showcase the club's activities and the accomplishments of its members.
