Family Day at the Dairy
Every year, the University of Florida IFAS Dairy Unit hosts an open house. On this day, the public is invited to come to the dairy and learn about dairying and the dairy science program at the University of Florida.

PLANNING
The Dairy Science Club is actively involved in all stages of planning for the event and serves as the main source of volunteers for the event.
EDUCATING
Stations throughout the dairy provide information on all aspects of a dairy operation.
ENTERTAINING
From milking a simulation cow to making butter there are plenty of activities for family fun.
