Artificial Insemination Clinic

Each Fall and Spring semester, the Dairy Science Club hosts an artificial insemination school in which students earn industry certification in artificial insemination management. The clinic is an intensive three-day short course, split between the classroom and the farm. Covered topics include cow reproductive anatomy, estrous detection, semen storage, and AI procedures.

FUNDRAISING

This event serves as the primary fundraiser for the University of Florida Dairy Science Club. Registration is open to club members first, followed by all members of the public.

EDUCATION

Students gain hands-on experience in the artificial insemination of cattle and semen care and preparation. In addition to classroom learning.

Students receive industry certification in artificial insemination management. Students use their new skills in research, personal farming, and professional pursuits.
